Member Registration Form

This form is used to add a new individual collaborator from funded projects to the HuBMAP Consortium to give them access to all of the Consortium's tools and resources.

Register or update your profile by going to the HuBMAP website at https://hubmapconsortium.org and clicking Member Services > Member Register at the top of the page, or go directly to https://profile.hubmapconsortium.org.

Google Drive

HuBMAP uses Google Drive for collaborative document creation and document sharing.If you are a registered HuBMAP collaborator, please go to https://hubmapconsortium.org/gdrive to access the Google Drive.

To gain access, you must be an approved, registered user; register now at https://profile.hubmapconsortium.org.

Main HuBMAP Calendar

The combined HuBMAP calendar is viewable here: https://hubmapconsortium.org/hubmap-calendar.

You can also subscribe to the main HuBMAP consortium calendar via a read-only standard calendar feed. This feed can be integrated with Outlook, Google, or any software that can read this standard; read about calendar feed integration to learn how to integrate customized feeds.

GitHub

Source code is version-controlled and shared using GitHub. Member who will upload data will need access to the HuBMAP workspace in Globus.

Request access during registration or by selecting GitHub in the member profile form at profile.hubmapconsortium.org.

Globus

Globus is a data storage platform that allows easy and secure transfer of data. Members who will upload data to the HuBMAP Data Portal will need access to Globus. Request access to the HuBMAP Globus space during registration or in the member profile form at profile.hubmapconsortium.org. Login to Globus requires an institutional id; eRA Commons, gmail or ORCID ids are not acceptable.

protocols.io

HuBMAP requires that all protocols be publicly available through the Human BioMolecular Atlas Program Method Development Community research group on protocols.io. Request access to the HuBMAP Method Development Community space during registration or in the member profile form at profile.hubmapconsortium.org.

ORCID

An ORCID is a globally unique identifier for researchers and individuals associated with research projects. ORCIDs are increasingly being used or required by publishers, funders, academic institutions, and repositories. Please register for an ORCID ID to recognize your contributions to the HuBMAP. https://orcid.org/register

Slack

The Consortium uses Slack for the purpose of real-time messaging. You will be invited to join Slack when you register. Below please find a few suggested guidelines and tips, and links to tutorials. Once you join this Slack-space, you are free to create your own channels to serve the needs of your group(s).

Zoom

Zoom is a communications platform that combines video conferencing, online meetings, chat, and mobile collaboration. The Consortium will primarily use Zoom for hosting meetings for such things as the Steering Committee, monthly NIH meetings, and web presentations or conferences.

Asana

The primary purpose of this project management tool is to consolidate milestone and deliverable tracking across the HIVE awards for NIH. It can also be used for teams and working groups to do basic project management. TMCs and TTDs are welcome to use it, though not required to track their milestones in Asana.
