HuBMAP 2020 All-Hands Meeting

ABOUT THE MEETING

The Human BioMolecular Atlas Program (HuBMAP) supported by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Common Fund, will host its third All-Hands Annual Meeting virtually, on May 19 - 20, 2020. The All-Hands Meeting will provide funded members the opportunity to learn about progress across the consortium, enrich existing collaborations, discover new ones, and finalize plans for the first public data release.

The meeting will begin on the morning of, May 19th with a State of the Consortium address. The day will have a data release focus and will feature presentations by funded groups, along with opportunities to connect with fellow members via coffee chats and will conclude with our first virtual poster session.

Day two will focus on internal and external collaborations and will offer more opportunities to hear from funded groups and connect with fellow members. The meeting will conclude late Wednesday afternoon with a meeting between the PIs, the EPC and the NIH.

MEETING OBJECTIVES

  • Convene the funded HuBMAP teams to update the community on their work and future directions
  • Provide opportunities for internal collaborative projects to strengthen and advance
  • Build exemplary external collaborations
  • Present Data Release 1.0 and plan for Data Release 2.0

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

All projects with an active HuBMAP grant are expected to be represented. In addition, all active projects must present a short update and at least one poster.
